At this point, the idea for armor upgrades came up. The Lego pieces were not going to work anymore without making the pieces way too big for the board. So, I started 3D modeling the game pieces in Tinkercad. Once I had the trucks designed, I used an online service to find a local person with a 3D Resin printer and sent him the designs. They turned out great, but I needed to try lots of different things and this was too slow of a feedback loop. On Saturday, August 10, I went to Microcenter and bought a 3D printer that was on sale and set to work producing the game pieces myself. This was a bit of a learning curve, but it went pretty well.

A friend invited us to a game night on Friday, August 16, so I made it a goal to have all of the pieces produced in time to bring the game to the party. There was a LOT of 3D printing that week... but I made it in time and was really happy with the results! I finally had all of the trucks, strongholds, armor, goods, and tokens.

That weekend I had the idea to add Conquest cards to give way to more strategies, and encourage more battling for controlling locations. I also rebalanced all of the prices for goods across the map and reprinted all of the Event cards to include the ideas we'd come up with throughout play testing. On Sunday, August 18, we played the latest version (my wife, daughter, and me) and really started to feel like the game was complete!

That brings us to present day. I've got a few more play tests with different groups of people lined up this weekend and I'm excited to see how they like it. I'm also just getting this website made so I can start sharing more as I continue to develop the game. Aside from that, I'm excited to start working with a friend who is going to do the final artwork for the game (board, box, cards, etc). Looking forward to sharing more updates soon!
