I bought some Legos to represent the Trucks, Strongholds, and Goods. This immediately made the game feel more real. We played it as a family again and came up talked about what was working well and what felt clunky. More changes...
We printed game money, new economy cards, and new delivery cards. We also made Battle Dice (red/blue) instead of using numerical dice. The numerical dice battles didn't feel balanced or fair. We were still working out how many battle dice you had for each truck/stronghold.
My daughter and I also used her markers and illustrated the game board map, which was really fun to do together and made the game feel more immersive!
